Week One, you proved that small counts.

Week Two, you finished something.

Last week, you looked at where your time is actually going.

Now we’re going to stop hoping your business magically finds a spot in your week.

THE GREAT LOCK-IN, WEEK FOUR:

The Calling Appointment Challenge

Your assignment (and yes, you choose to accept it):

Put ONE recurring appointment for your calling (business) on your calendar.

Same day. Same time. Every week. Through the end of December.

Maybe it’s: Saturday, 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. Wednesday during lunch.Thursday, 7:00 to 7:45 p.m. Sunday evening after everybody settles down.

I don’t care when it is but choose something realistic. Not aspirational Reader but real-life Reader. 😂

Because we’ve all made that mistake where we say “I’m waking up every morning at 5!”

Meanwhile you currently hit snooze until 6:42 and have to leave the house by 7:15.

Sis. No. 😂Build around the woman you actually are and NAME the appointment.

“Calling Time.”

“Business Hour.”

“CEO Appointment.”

“God + Business.”

I’m bad with names but name that time whatever makes you smile when it pops up.

Then (this is very important) protect it like you would protect something you promised somebody else. Because that’s where so many of us struggle. Corporate puts a meeting on the calendar? We’re there bright and early! Church needs us Saturday at 9? We’re there at 8:47 carrying coffee. Doctor’s appointment for Mom? Already entered with three reminders. But the appointment with the thing God has been nudging US to build?

“Oh, I’ll get to it if I have time.”

Listen…you don’t need your calling to take over your life. You just need to stop treating it like it can survive on leftovers.

One appointment. Every week.

That’s your challenge.

And when something tries to take that time? Before you automatically move it, ask:

Does this truly need my time more than the promise I already made to myself?

Sometimes the answer will be yes. Life happens! But it shouldn’t automatically be yes every time. Put your appointment on the calendar today and then hit reply and tell me:

My Calling Appointment is ____________________________________________.

And whew...
