No one else will tell you this.

Welcome to Week 2 of The Great Lock-In!

And this week I’m coming for your tabs.👀

You know the tabs… the unfinished lead magnet, the Canva design you started three weeks ago, the offer document with “DRAFT” still in the title, the bio you keep rewriting, the website you got halfway through and then decided you needed to research branding again, the course you bought because you thought maybe THAT was what you needed before you finished the thing you were already working on.

Sis...

THE GREAT LOCK-IN, WEEK TWO:

The Finish Something Challenge

Your assignment this week is to choose ONE unfinished business task and finish it.

ONE.

And here’s the hard part: You can’t replace it with a shinier idea.

Because I know you…the minute finishing gets uncomfortable, suddenly you’re going to have the greatest idea God has ever given anybody at 2:14 on Tuesday afternoon.

Write it down and then go finish what you started. 😂

Listen, starting is exciting!

Finishing? Not so much.

Finishing makes things real because once the offer is finished, you may have to tell somebody about it. Once the landing page is done, you may have to publish it. Once the post is written, you may actually have to hit “post.”

Which is exactly why sometimes we stay in creation mode forever. If everything is “still being worked on,” nothing can be judged. Nobody can say no, nobody can ignore it and you never have to find out whether this thing actually works.

Hmmm.

See why I’m all up in your business this morning?

Finishing is not about productivity. It’s actually about courage.

So choose something small enough to complete this week.

I’m not talking about “Build my entire business.” No ma’am. I’m talking about:

Finish your bio.

Finish your offer statement.

Finish the welcome email.

Finish the page.

Finish the outline.

Finish ONE thing that has been hanging around making you feel like you’re not making progress.

And when you finish it? Do not immediately start something else. Take a minute and say:

I finished that (or I DID THAT!).

Your brain needs proof that you follow through.

Ok, hit reply and tell me what you’re finishing this week.

And yes...I may ask you about it Thursday. 🤭

Talk to ya Thursday.

Rooting for you always,

Monique
